How many of you use free wi-fi ? Do you ever know that you are paying for free wi-fi !!

It is really awesome to be wiser than our ISPs. They can't spring us with unheard of charges,but connecting to public wi-fi comes with its own risks.It can be something scary & unexpected .

We should always understand that our data can be intercepted and it can be viewed if it is not encrypted.

So, what is the price you all are paying for free wi-fi ?
Login details if it not a https connecton, photographs, metadata, apps on your device, the servers your application connect to and many more...

So, what could be the possible solution ,should we avoid using free wi-fi ?
Yeah ! to some extent , but in case of unavoidable situations we should use VPN i.e. virtual private network which encrypts our network data .

How exactly VPN works?
If we use a VPN over public wi-fi your internet traffic will be encrypted i.e. instead of your internet traffic connecting directly to the websites from your device revealing exactly what you are doing online to the wi-fi provider, the VPN will garble your internet traffic and keep you anonymous .



Even if you are out of your nation you cannot rely on the foreign ISPs they can snoop your activity.

So, apart from your phone network usage of VPN must be mandatory ...
